Jatiluwih Green Land

Nominated for designation as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Jatiluwih offers a beautiful view of contoured rice terraces irrigated using an impressive communal water system developed by Balinese farmers. The scenic drive through the quaint villages and verdant slopes of the central coastal regency of Tabanan adds to the experience.

The rice fields go on as far as the eye can see. Green as far as the eye can see in all directions, with various footpaths and trails which are easily navigated. Recommend visiting during a quiet time as well as a cooler part of the day to really take in the hard work & serenity achieved here. Don’t forget a hat, water & sunscreen plus a camera if you’d like a fantastic scenic photo opportunity.
